Philippine Phosphate Fertilizer Corp. will export P962 million worth of phosphate fertilizer to Brazil in the next two months, a company official said.
The shipment to Brazil will be about 20 percent of the company’s total exports this year, said Dennis Mate, executive vice president of Philphos. “Penetrating the Latin market is a big step because this is the first time that we’ll be exporting outside Asia, and we’re the only company in the Philippines to do so,” Mate told the Inquirer.
