(The Philippine Daily Inquirer) - Malaysian low-cost carrier AirAsia has said it was considering new operations in the Philippines as the airline posted a record half-year profit. The airline, which dominates the crowded Southeast Asian low-cost carrier market, currently has joint venture operations in Indonesia and Thailand.
