CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, Misamis Oriental, Dec. 16 -- To celebrate the reason of the season, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Regional Office 10 conducted a Gift-Giving Activity to the less fortunate kids at Fatima Chapel, Isla De Oro, Burgos St., Cagayan de Oro City, Dec. 14.
The activity was led by Regional Director Roberto S. Opeña who personally distributed the Christmas gifts and packed snacks to more than 100 children as beneficiaries of Isla de Oro.
Together with him are some agents, technical and admin personnel of the office who helped in the distribution and ensuring security of the place during the activity.
Director Opeña said "We choose Isla de Oro among few selected places in the city, for we believe these children deserve to be given for they don't have any regular benefactor than the others."
