(Thursday, March 22) - Retired Police Director General Arturo Lomibao backed out of the congressional race in the fourth district of Pangasinan.
Lomibao's withdrawal came 10 days after he announced at a news conference in Dagupan that he was already 99.99 per cent sure of running for congressman in the province's fourth district against Joe De Venecia. (from the Philippine News Agency)
