Police Superintendent Aurelio Trampe, city police director disclosed this even as he guaranteed police visibility in all cemeteries in the city if only to ensure public safety and orderliness during the two-day observance.
Among those who will be fielded in the cemeteries for the "Oplan Kaluluwa" are the personnel of the City Mobile Group (CMG), PNP Recom 10 and other local police precincts.
Col. Trampe said that "Oplan Kaluluwa" will be implemented starting tomorrow evening and will end on the morning of November 2.
He added that due to the influx of people visiting their loved ones in the cemeteries, the local police office heightened the alert level in the city especially in bus terminals, seaport and airport.
They also tighten the check-points in the western and eastern parts of the city to easily monitor possible incidents that would threaten the stable peace and order of Cagayan de Oro.
Col. Trampe urged the public to visit the cemetery at an early hour of the day to avoid traffic jam in the cemeteries and park their vehicles properly.
