(Wednesday, March 28) - Former President Corazon C. Aquino yesterday said that extrajudicial killings in the country allegedly done by security forces were a "cause for alarm" and that the Filipino people have the right to know what the Arroyo administration is doing to address the problem.
"The extrajudicial killings were a cause for alarm. The people would want to know what is being done to address the issue," said Aquino in an interview with the media after speaking at the Forum Series on Governance, International Politics, and Development at the University of Makati in Makati City the other night.
