The National Bureau of Investigation Tuesday issued subpoenas to five members of the Kiram family in connection with the standoff in Sabah, Malaysia.
Summoned by the NBI are Sultan Jamalul Kiram III, Princess Jacel Kiram, Esmail Kiram, Fatima Cecilia Kiram and Abraham Idjirani.
The Kiram family members were ordered to appear before the NBI's Anti-Organized Crime Division on Friday, March 15, 2013 at 10 a.m.
The NBI earlier issued subpoenas to Pastor Boy Saycon, the alleged adviser of the Sultanate of Sulu, former National Security Adviser Norberto Gonzales and Moro National Liberation Front founding chair and erstwhile Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao Gov. Nurallaji "Nur" Misuari.
The NBI aims to place under questioning the former ARMM governor pertaining to the investigation being conducted by the government.
