Three persons were killed while 36 others were injured when a six-wheeler cargo truck carrying people who attended the burial of a relative overturned along the national highway in Barangay Sta. Irene, Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur on Thursday afternoon.
A report from the Prosperidad Municipal Police Station headed by Senior Insp. Joseph Ejercito P. Lambaco identified the dead as Wenie Valencia, 55, married; Laiza Valencia, a minor; and Rey Maturan.
The injured victims were treated at the D.O. Plaza Memorial Hospital in Patin-ay, Prosperidad.
