Provincial Cooperative Development Office (PCDO)

At least 715 residents of the province received Tuesday a total of P5.617 million interest-free livelihood loan assistance from the provincial cooperative development office (PCDO).

The livelihood loan assistance is a program of the present provincial leadership to help the marginalized sector in the province to obtain income out from the loan that is programmed by the provincial cooperative office.

Carlito Tumaliuan, provincial cooperative and development officer, said the provincial coop also provides interest-free loans to small cooperatives in the province to increase their operational fund and continue to grow to help their members become productive.

Nine small cooperatives have already received livelihood loan assistance.

The beneficiaries of the interest-free livelihood loans are from the localities of Alicia, Angadanan, Benito Soliven, Cabagan, Cabatuan, Cauayan City, Divilacan, Gamu, Ilagan City, Maconacon, Mallig, Naguilian, Ramon, Reina Mercedes, roxas, San Isidro, San Manuel, San Mateo, San Mariano and San Pablo.
