ITO Database Administration - Oracle/SQL Support Administrator

ITO needs individuals who can leverage their Oracle skills in high-volume, high-complexity production environments to manage and support Oracle products. The Database Management team supports multiple instances and servers located in data centers around the world. We want people who are problem solvers and like working hands-on.
Tasks
In our Remote management Center you will be responsible for maintaining DB (server/instance) uptime and performance levels as per our SLA with customers. You will need to use your knowledge and previous experience to achieve these levels.
Skills
· Oracle DB administration experience.
· High level of initiative and ownership: can take a problem and follow it to resolution.
· Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
· Can work in global [virtual] teams.
· Platform knowledge (UNIX and/or Windows 2000/2003/XP) is a big plus.
· Experience in Escalation, Problem, Change and Incident Service Management disciplines is valuable, but not required.
· Desirable, Experience in HP Open View.
- Willing to work in the Fort Taguig or Makati
- Can work shifting schedule including weekends and holidays
