Philippine shares further slid on Friday, dipping 16.82 points or 0.32 percent to finish at 5,156.46 on shaky US job market data and aggressive trading.
Volume traded reached 1.80 billion shares valued at P15.59 billion.
Broader all shares slightly improved, adding 4.12 points or 0.12 percent to end higher at 3,429.55 points.
After a five-day rally, the PSEi on Thursday tumbled, slipping 12.92 points, or 0.24 percent, to finish at 5,173.28 while all shares shed 8.28 points, or 0.24 percent, to close at 3,425.43.
The index's week-on-week gain was touted at +1.16 percent.
Meanwhile, three of the six sub-indices were in the green: Financials, Property and Mining and Oil, which climbed 6.95 points, or 0.53 percent; 7.92 points, or 0.41 percent; and 9.95 points, or 0.03 percent, respectively.
Decliners edged out advancers, 87 to 76 while 44 stocks were unchanged.
